The Nerve Connection Foundation fundraising committee is putting together a relaxed afternoon of connecting on Sunday, 4 August 2024.  The NCF Sunday Sesh will be held at the Coffee Commune, Bowen Hills from 3 – 7pm.  Be reminded of the afternoon pub sessions of your youth with live music and drinks from the bar, with the grown up sophistiction of grazing boards and upmarket canapes.

Tickets available here.

There is an exciting whisper about an outback experince in support of the work of Nerve Connection Foundation during 2024.  The good folks of Longreach really know how to get behind a worthwhile cause (and they put on a fine party as well).

Stay tuned for details.

If you are interested in volunteering or assisting with the fundraising efforts of the Foundation in any way, please contact the committee

In the meantime, you might like to have a look at all the fun that was had at the Nerve Connection 2023 GoMA luncheon.

ROWLO’S GOLF DAY on Friday, 4 October 2024

Save the date, golfers!  The family of the late Mark Rowlinson are making preparations for the 13th annual Rowlo’s Golf Day to be held at Headland Golf Club, Buderim.  Mark “Rowlo” Rowlinson was diagnosed with motor neurone disease by Dr Robert Henderson in 2006, and for seven and a half years he battled this destructive disease. Rowlo was passionate about supporting MND research and whilst participating in research trials he became a strong advocate for raising awareness about the existence and outcome of a condition for which there is no effective therapy or cure.  In 2012, the inaugural Rowlo’s Golf Day was held, and for every year since Rowlo’s family and friends have come together to raise much needed research funds and awareness in his honour.

More news on how to enter your team to come.

If you would like to assist Rowlo’s family with their exceptional efforts, please contact Kelly Rowlinson or the Nerve Connection Foundation Fundraising Committee
